Account & subscriptions
Check your account and configuration before connecting. Keep your password and subscription link secure and separate.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password on the account setup page in the user panel, following the on-screen instructions, and store your login details securely. Use a unique password and keep it in a trusted password manager; never share it with anyone. Since account setup does not require an email address, don’t assume you can recover your account by email. If you have trouble logging in, use the recovery options shown in the panel. After setup, confirm that you can log in before choosing a plan and getting your subscription. If you save screenshots of the process, hide your password, subscription link and other account details.
Where can I get the client, and which operating systems are supported?
VPNMG supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Get the client for your operating system from the client section of the user panel and follow the instructions there. After logging in, clients for Windows, macOS, Android and Linux are available without a purchased plan. Access to the iOS client depends on panel permissions and requires a purchased, unexpired plan. Getting a client is separate from getting an active subscription. After installation, check your plan status and import the corresponding subscription. This help page does not provide direct download links, so you don’t mistake an outdated file for the current version.
How do I import a subscription link and refresh the server list?
Sign in to the user panel and copy the link from your subscription details, or use the client import option shown there. To import manually, find the subscription or configuration section in your client, choose the option to add from a link, paste the complete link, then save and update. To refresh an existing subscription, update its current configuration instead of adding the same one again. Button names vary between clients. After updating, check the last-updated time, server list and active configuration. If the update fails, make sure the link was copied in full and your plan is active, then follow the connection troubleshooting steps to check your network.
Do I need to choose a new plan when switching devices or connecting on multiple devices?
VPNMG has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so switching to another supported platform does not require a new plan by itself. Sign in to the panel on the new device, get the appropriate client and import your subscription as instructed. Keep an eye on your plan and data usage across all devices: unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data. When handing off, transferring or retiring a device, remove saved account details and subscription configurations. If you think your subscription link has been exposed, check the panel for available management options or contact support through a ticket. Don’t post your subscription link in public documents or chat groups.
Connections & troubleshooting
Check your local network, client configuration and destination app separately. Avoid repeated reinstalls that don’t get to the root cause.
The client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?
First, pause the accelerated connection and confirm that your local network can access commonly used websites. Then re-enable the client. Check that the correct configuration is imported and enabled, a server is selected, and your plan and data status are normal. Try another everyday website to determine whether all requests are failing or only one service is affected. If other networking tools are running, pause any you don’t need to prevent their system proxy settings from conflicting. Keep other settings unchanged while troubleshooting, changing one thing at a time and noting the result. This makes it easier to identify whether the issue is with the configuration, server or destination service.
Why does my browser work, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?
Browsers and apps may handle network traffic differently. A browser request working through the client doesn’t mean every app follows the same system proxy settings. Check whether the client is using rule-based mode or another mode, then see if the rules, process or domain for the affected app are set to bypass the proxy. If the client offers a virtual network mode for your operating system, check its permissions and settings using the client’s instructions. Don’t copy settings from another platform. After making changes, fully quit and reopen the app, then test again. If it still fails, note the app name, operating system and error message, and contact support through a ticket.
What should I do if a subscription update fails or the client reports a configuration error?
First determine whether the subscription content can’t be fetched, or whether it was fetched but the client can’t parse it. For the first issue, check your local network, that the link is complete and the subscription status in the panel. For the second, check that the import method you selected is supported by your client. Don’t remove link parameters manually or paste a webpage address as a subscription link. If the subscription worked before, keep the existing configuration and note the error before trying an update, so you have a working version to fall back on. If the problem persists, submit a ticket with the client name, operating system, step where the issue occurred and screenshots with sensitive details obscured. Never share the full subscription link publicly.
What information should I prepare before submitting a ticket about frequent disconnections?
Check whether disconnections coincide with sleep mode, switching networks, starting other networking tools or background restrictions. Keep the same device and configuration while trying a different local network, then switch servers while staying on the same local network. Compare the conditions under which the issue occurs. In your ticket, include your operating system, client name, network environment, selected region, time of the issue, error message and the steps you’ve already tried. Check screenshots and logs for passwords or subscription links, and share only what’s needed to diagnose the issue. Don’t disable unrelated system security settings or submit the same report repeatedly.
Speed & routes
Use region names as a starting point; judge routes by how they perform in your apps. Keep test conditions consistent for a useful comparison.
Which regions do the servers cover, and how should I choose an exit location?
VPNMG covers 100+ countries / 220+ routes. The available exit locations are listed in the user panel and in the latest subscription update. Start by checking the region requirements of the service you want to access, then compare your experience rather than choosing based only on map distance. If there’s no specific regional requirement, test a commonly used location and see how page loads, app responses and longer sessions perform. Routes in the same region may use different network paths, and results can vary by local provider and time of day. Use the server list to understand the regions and listed details, but don’t treat a preview or one-off test as a guarantee of ongoing performance.
How can I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak hours?
First check whether system updates, cloud sync or other devices are using your local network. Then compare different routes with the same app. Keep the content, device and local network as consistent as possible during testing, so you can identify the cause without changing several variables at once. Try another exit in the same region, then a different region allowed by the service. If the issue occurs only at certain times, note when it happens and which route you’re using. Unstable Wi-Fi can also cause buffering, so compare results on another local connection. Peak-hour performance depends on the entire network path; a single latency reading won’t identify the cause. If the problem continues, submit a ticket with your comparison results.
Why are downloads or videos still slow when the server’s latency is low?
Latency mainly measures round-trip request time; it doesn’t directly measure sustained transfer speeds. Downloads and video playback can also be affected by the destination server, local network, Wi-Fi signal, background tasks and the network path. Check webpage response times, file transfers and video buffering separately to see whether the issue is limited to one service. Also check the client rules to confirm that the destination traffic is actually using the selected route rather than another path. Server status figures can offer clues, but they don’t replace real-world app performance. If switching routes doesn’t help, test another local network and share the results.
Will streaming services or AI tools always work after I switch regions?
Switching routes changes the network exit used for requests, but a destination service may also check account region, sign-in status, subscription eligibility and its own access policies. A region name alone can’t guarantee access. If something doesn’t work, first confirm that the client rules send the request through the selected route, then check the message from the service. After switching, quit and reopen the app so new requests use the current connection. Follow the service’s official instructions for cache or account settings. A VPNMG network subscription does not include memberships to third-party platforms or replace their account permissions. Follow the rules of the services you use and any requirements that apply to you.
Billing & refunds
Check the billing model before confirming your order. Monthly plans and data packs have different usage rules.
How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does data reset?
Monthly plans cost ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose a plan based on how often you connect, how much video you watch and how much you download. Short-term usage shown in the client may not reflect your long-term needs. Check your plan and data status in the panel to see whether your current tier suits you. If you use the same account on multiple devices, consider your total usage. Monthly plans and data packs have different billing models, so their reset rules don’t apply interchangeably. For full pricing, check the plans page and confirm your selection before proceeding.
What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan, and do data packs expire?
Data packs cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Use the data as needed; it never expires. Monthly plans are billed monthly, with data resetting each month on the activation date. Choose based on how regularly you use the service: compare monthly tiers for regular use, or review data pack billing for occasional use. Data packs aren’t issued again each month, and monthly plan reset rules don’t apply to data packs. If you already have another plan, check the panel for available options and any change notices. For stacking, deduction order or conversion rules not listed here, confirm the details through a support ticket before making changes.
What happens if I upgrade a monthly plan partway through the cycle, and what happens to my remaining data?
When you upgrade a monthly plan partway through the cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Select the target plan in the panel and carefully check the items and change notices on the order page before proceeding. Don’t estimate the result by subtracting full-month prices, or assume an upgrade starts a whole new billing cycle. Check the panel and the final result for the new expiry date, used data and any status changes. Don’t assume details that aren’t listed here based on how another service works. If the order details don’t match your expectations, keep the current page information and confirm through a support ticket before continuing. Avoid repeating the operation.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan status doesn’t update after payment?
VPNMG supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Continue payment from the order section of the user panel, and check the order, amount and on-screen instructions. If the status doesn’t update after payment, return to the original order first. Don’t create another identical order or pay again. Keep the order details and payment receipt, then submit a ticket with your payment method, transaction time and current status. Receipt screenshots should show only what’s needed to verify the transaction; hide other account details. For USDT payments, follow the details displayed for the current order exactly. Don’t reuse details from an old order or guess or replace unverified payment information.
How long do I have to request a refund, and where do I submit one?
VPNMG offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with your request and the order details needed for verification. Read the refund policy first for eligibility and application instructions. Refund eligibility and handling are subject to the policy and order verification. Don’t share passwords, full subscription links or unrelated personal information on public pages. Check replies and requests for more information in the original ticket; keeping the conversation together makes it easier to review. This help page doesn’t promise processing times not listed in the policy. Check your ticket and payment provider for updates.
